I couldn’t be happier that I decided to book a last-minute trip to Chicago a couple weeks ago. I’ve lived in the Midwest my whole life, but this was my first time traveling to the Windy City and my time there certainly didn’t disappoint. Even though I was only in Chicago for a super quick two days, I was really able to dive in and explore the city’s unique architecture, food scene, and some of Chicago’s most well-known landmarks. From shopping on the Magnificent Mile to watching the sunset over Chicago to tasting the city’s famous cuisine, I just barely began to scratch the surface of all that Chicago has to offer. My spontaneous trip only made me more excited for a return trip to Chicago to dive even farther into the city’s culture, stunning architecture, and vibrant neighborhoods.
